This painting of a woman washing her back is painted in mostly blues and greys with warmer added color. I was after an effect, a wet look, shiny and with a bit of informality and intimacy. A glimpse into the life of woman. A dear friend of mine modeled for me one afternoon and this is the resulting painting.
